JWCR Event Proposal & Project Procedure Report
JWCR Tag Sale
Location: Ambulance Corp Building Parking Lot
Date: RESCHEDULED to Saturday, May 18th
Please join us on Saturday, May 18th for the Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey 2nd Annual Tag Sale
and Bake Sale. The Tag Sale starts at 9am and will be held at the Ambulance Corp in Ramsey located
at 41 South Island Ave (corner of Prospect St. and South Island Ave). All proceeds from this event
will be donated to our community and civic organizations. Last year we earned over $1700 and
donated over $500 of items to Ramsey Responds. With your help, this year we can earn more! The
Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey welcomes new members.
Comedy Night Fundraiser
Location: Knights of Columbus Ramsey
Date: May 31st
Time: 7:30pm
Hosted by Ramsey’s Own Jimmy Palumbo and featuring VERONICA MOSEY and JOE MATARESE.
Tickets are $55/pp and include appetizers, desserts, beer and wine. View flyer.
Relay for Life
Location: Ramsey High School
Date: June 7-8th
On June 7-8th 2013, the Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey will be participating for a 6th year in the
annual Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Last year our team raised over
$9,000 dollars; ranking among one of top team donations in Ramsey. Please join us again in our efforts
to make our world CANCER FREE. Participation can involve purchasing a luminary for a loved one,
making a donation to our team, and/or coming out to the event and cheer with us. If you would like to

Touch-A-Truck
Date: October 13th
The Touch-A-Truck event will be held at the Ramsey Farmers Market Sunday, October 13th from
10-2pm. Proceeds will support Ramsey’s Emergency Services units including the fire department,
rescue squad, ambulance corps and police department.
Visitors to the event are asked for a suggested $5 donation (per family). Children will be able to tour
the vehicles that participate They will be able to sit in the cars and trucks and even operated sirens and
horns. Each organization will have a table set up and volunteers available to answer questions and
interact with the public. The experience gives kids a chance to see many vehicles up close and also
provides them with an opportunity to see the first responders and those in uniform as individuals they
could approach and trust.
Pumpkin Painting
Date: October 27th
The Pumpkin Painting event will be held at the Ramsey Farmers Market Sunday, October 27th.
Holiday Boutique Fundraiser
Location: Knights of Columbus, Ramsey
Date: November 14th, 2013
If you are a vendor and would like to participate please Contact Us. The vendor cost is $50 per table
and one raffle piece donated by vendor. Co-chairs to run the event are Marie Rotolo and Elena
McAlear.
