JWCR Event Proposal & Project Procedure Report
Art Auction
The Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey will be hosting an Art Auction on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at
the Ramsey Golf & Country Club. The event will include the auction by Marlin Art, 50/50 raffle,
drink specials, and more... The Country Club will provide hot and cold appetizers, plus wine and beer -
all included in your ticket price. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 a couple. Please contact Debi

If you cannot attend the event but would like to show your support visit MarlinArt.com and any
purchase you make will be credited towards the Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey by simply entering

All proceeds will benefit Ramsey Civic and Community Organizations.

- Our club is responsible for planning this celebration. All the clubs in the area join us for a night
to talk about what they do and get ideas- awards given out for best events. - We are in the preliminary stages of putting this together, currently have a sample of booklet
with agenda. - We would love to have help with the event; contact Mary F. or Nancy N. if interested.
- If you want to attend, its $10 a person and we will set up carpooling for the night.
NJ Junior Woman's Convention

- Friday night bonfire, Sat day workshops, Sat night formal awards banquet.
- Juniors can come for parts of weekend since it’s a busy weekend with Relay for Life and
Cystic Fibrosis walk.
RELAY for LIFE
May 18th
- We attended first relay meeting in town where they have decided the theme is ‘Lasso a Cure for
Cancer’. - Goal for town is $200,000 and if we reach it, we would be the first high school in the region to
raise that much-raised more than $180,000 last year. - We have already started our team on the site under Ramsey Juniors with Salina as Captain- to
participate, you need to raise $100 to be on the team.
