About Us

The Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Our members are dedicated, diversified and fun-loving women who are motivated to improving and supporting our community through volunteer service. Founded by Barbara Chamberlin in 1966, we are affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the largest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations.

We also provide a wonderful social outlet for our members and their families and consider ourselves a great starting place for families that are new to Ramsey. Our Motto is ". . . with hearts and hands we serve. . ." We strive to improve the quality of life for those in need, near and far, while continuing to foster the friendships that enhance our personal lives.

Some of the local organizations we support are Ramsey Responds, the Fire Department, Ambulance Corp and Ramsey Rescue as well as the Library, Fine Arts Council, Woodland Senior Center and DARE among others.
