The P.I.N.K. Ladies

	The annual Play for P.I.N.K. golf tournament and luncheon was held on Thursday, June 5th to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. P.I.N.K. stands for Prevention Immediate diagnosis New treatments and Knowledge. The Ramsey Juniors sponsored a hole at this event and several of our members attended to show support for this worthy cause.
A Successfull Book Sale to Benefit USO and Beyond
The Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey hosted a used book sale on Memorial Day 2008. The proceeds from this sale benefitted the United Service Organization (USO) to fund their United through Reading initiative and to aid in the purchase of telephone cards to be distributed to deployed U.S. military personnel. Approximately 900 books were collected, of that, 250 books were sold for a total of $600, to be given to the USO. The remainder of the books were distributed to help other organizations, such as Rolling Readers, a Senior Center in South Jersey and a small library in Maples, Maine.

Sweetheart Casino Night, an Evening to Remember

The JWCR Third Annual Sweetheart Casino Night, on Saturday February 9th, 2008 was a tremendous success!! The evening's proceeds of $26,000 were contributed to local Ramsey organizations. We would like to thank all of the merchants, corporations, restaurants and individuals who contributed so generously to make our event possible. To see a complete list of contributors click here.
