The Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey was founded in 1966 by
Barbara Chamberlin and a small group of motivated women
determined to make a difference. We are affiliated with the
General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the largest
nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service
organizations. Today the JWCR continues to grow and evolve
to serve – with hearts and hands – the needs of Ramsey’s
citizens and organizations, as well as select institutions in the

Since 1976, The Valerie Fund’s mission has been to support
comprehensive health care close to home for New Jersey
children diagnosed with solid and brain tumors; leukemia;
sickle cell disease; and other blood disorders. Today, six
Valerie Fund Children’s Centers are located at the major
hospitals in Newark, Livingston, Summit, Morristown,
Monmouth, and at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
Specialty Center in Voorhees.
