The Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey was founded in 1966 by Barbara Chamberlin and a small group of motivated women determined to make a difference. We are affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the largest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations. Today the JWCR continues to grow and evolve to serve – with hearts and hands – the needs of Ramsey’s citizens and organizations, as well as select institutions in the state of New Jersey and abroad. The Juniors Woman's Club partnered with Ramsey Rescue and Good Samaratin Hospital to hold a much needed blood drive. The idea was to combine efforts with the Town-wide clean up for Earth Day to bring in more donors and it worked! We had over 21 donors participate including several members of the Juniors who helped with the cleanup, baked refresments and then gave their blood too! That's the Junior way... we give it our all!
