BOARD POSITIONS
President (Prerequisite: Must have served on the Board for one year)
Co-First Vice Presidents (2 members)
Second Vice President – Membership (2 members - computer literacy and email accessibility required)
Treasurer & Tax Advisor
Recording Secretary (computer literacy required, laptop helpful)
Corresponding Secretary
Publicity Secretary
President (Prerequisite: Must have served on the Board for one year)
- Schedule, organize, set agenda and run monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Oversee all club activities and be the de-facto member of each committee
- Maintain Club Calendar
- Maintain Master File of Club PPR’s
- Review and Distribute all Club Correspondence
- Review monthly financial statements provided by Treasurer
Co-First Vice Presidents (2 members)
- Attend monthly Board and Membership meetings
- Collect club chairs’ event and seed money proposals to be presented at board meetings
- Collect all Event Summary Reports – completed checklists, contacts and expenses – submit to president for review and filing
- Secondary signature to club checkbook
- De-facto member of all committees along with President
- Oversee Website, Facebook, & Sign Up Genius
Second Vice President – Membership (2 members - computer literacy and email accessibility required)
- Attend monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Track & maintain contact with prospective Juniors
- Provide monthly updates to president on new membership status
- Responsible for updating member contact information, committee lists and email distribution lists in Google and Sign Up genius
- Organize and conduct Installation ceremonies
Treasurer & Tax Advisor
- Attend monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Maintain Club bank account records and checkbook activity for monthly meetings
- Prepare annual budget & provide info for tax return
- Monitor club expenses
- Collect Membership dues and track payments for Membership
- Ensure our Club, District and Federation dues are paid on time
- Responsible for ensuring that all Club registrations remain current in conjunction with the Club President (NJ State Charitable Organization status, NJ Gaming License, etc.)
- File the State 501c3
Recording Secretary (computer literacy required, laptop helpful)
- Attend monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Keep minutes of General Meetings
- Email minutes to President(s) for review within a 48 hours of General Meeting
Corresponding Secretary
- Attend monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Retrieve mail weekly from Club P.O. Box and distribute as needed
- Announce club personal information such as births, etc (with approval of the individual)
Publicity Secretary
- Attend monthly Board & Membership meetings
- Submit all press releases, photos & articles into various local newspapers & periodicals for both Bergen County
- Collect all news articles and pictures for Club Press Book
- Maintain the JWCR website and Facebook page

Charitable Giving Committee - Any and all programs that help us assist those less fortunate, including:
Ramsey Community Outreach Committee - Network with the Ramsey organizations and charities to help further support the community. Events include:
Membership Committee - Help our VPs of Membership with new member installation events and all recruitment events. Events include:
Fundraising Committee - Help drive attendance for all of our big fundraiser events throughout the year. Events include:
Art Committee - Work with any art related socials for both adults and kids. Events include:

- Thanksgiving Basket Donations for The Center for Food Action

- Holiday Giving Tree at Ramsey Library
- Reach Out and Read Book Drive
- Summer Giving Tree at Ramsey Library
Ramsey Community Outreach Committee - Network with the Ramsey organizations and charities to help further support the community. Events include:
- Touch-A-Truck at Ramsey Farmer's Market
- Ladies Night Out hosted by the Ramsey Education Foundation
- Ramsey Clean-Up Day
- Memorial Day Wreath Presentation
- Pink Lemonade Fundraiser
- Ramsey Townwide Garage Sale
- Ramsey Stigma-Free event participation
- Ramsey Drug Alliance event participation
Membership Committee - Help our VPs of Membership with new member installation events and all recruitment events. Events include:
